I'm off work all week this week, so up at a reasonable time this morning and on the bike to the beach :D . National cycle route No47 starts just outside my front door and finishes(20ish miles later) on Pembrey Sands.
The route is on a disused Coal Board railway which has been tarmaced over. As it was a railway it only has gentle inclines and declines, which is nice. 40 mile round trip and no aches or pains(yet). Just pins and needles in my toes after about 30 miles :(
\/The ride in pictures.
