I flew to the states and back last week so saw plenty of movies on the flight...

Clash of the Titans, really not as bad as my dad made it out to be. Im a very fussy film critic but I thought it had some nice touches. Zeus and Hades had some cool FX, but Medusa was naff.
All in, throw your brain away and watch a cheesy but fairly energetic movie...dont expect hear a good script or to see any good acting. That lead acter kiwi fella is trully awful though, completely unlikeable.

A Prophet - French prison/gangster movie. Brilliant acting, tense moments and good story. If you can handle subtitles then this is a really good film.

Alice in Wonderland...very dissapointed. Loved the mad hatter, didnt like much else after Alice re-entered wonderland. Oh, the cheshire cat was creepily good though.

Edge of Darkness - Mel Gibson hamming it up as usual but was really pleasantly surprised by this film. Wasnt expecting much after reading a couple reviews that panned it, but thought it was quite tense, with a couple really gripping moments.

Sure there were others but they mustve been so rubbish that my mind has cast out all memory.

I think that the original was c1970 something and effects by harryhausen I think similar to sinbad really and really a great film 8)

Enjoyed clash of the titans. . . The djinn were cool. . Just started watching where the wild things are but my eyes are hurting so I guess its time to sleep for a while 8)

1981.

If you've seen the original then you'll know roughly what the new one's like. Still worth watching though.
