It is rare to witness generosity from a total stranger over the use of a forum, but I'd like to recognise one of our users.
I wish to publically praise pete_mcc for his overwhelming generosity in response to my 'wanted' post.
I asked if anyone had any Pace bars for sale and Pete promptly responded by letting me know he'd post them to me if I made a contribution to my favourite charity and, as odd as it sounds, I went along with it.
Sure enough, the bars turned up just before Christmas, in perfect condition without a penny exchanging hands!
How many times does this happen?
I wish to thank Pete and assure you all that I will pledge a significant fund to the Alzheimers Society, which is a charity close to the hearts of my family.
