Would you object if I were to pass on your tips to whomever performs the repair over here? It sounds like you've done this kind of fix in the past and your advice is clearly based on experience.

I was all set to commit the poor Stratos to the recycling centre in the sky – but it sounds very much like there's life in the old girl yet

Means my efforts on the decal redraw might not be wasted after all.

Hijack away fella

This all started out as a casual idea. I met Guybe a while back and suggested we go for a ride on the Quantocks – my local stomping ground. In typical slack stylee I haven't gotten around to firming anything up. Guessed there were a few other members locally and was wondering about sorting something out.

It seems that there's regular gatherings around the Cannock Chase area – which one day I'll manage to get to – but nothing down here.

No firm dates in mind – obviously it would need to be a weekend.
