Its been pretty good so far here, sold an $1800 bike this afternoon so that was good, it was only by chance as I was walking out of the shop to go get lunch, spotted a couple who no one had had a chance to talk to, 1\2 hour later they pulled the trigger so that's good, spending most of my time in the workshop though which to be honest I do prefer.
Like the PIC aswel, don't think I'd seen that one!

So today was my first day off, a Saturday, my normal hours are 830 to 530 Monday to Thursday and 10 to 4 on Sundays, also have a couple of 6 day weeks around Xmas and new year.
But today I had a few things to sort out, but after that was dine I went for a riding wander around the city, mainly to help get my bearings, I don't know the roads as such gut I'm at the point where I know which basic direction I should be going in and can find my way like that so that's good, getting to and from work is now fine, I've got it to about 20 mins in and about double that going home, time difference is purely because of downhill in and uphill home!
Anyway I git some pics and I think I've figured out this tablet enough to try and upload them here!!

Finally got a little of road ride this evening, left work and headed up mount Victoria, some nice flowy easy trails then down into Wellington central then up Around street and into some trails known as Serendipity, single track climb and steep single track descent. Can't wait to do more!
Should be riding after work tomorrow, although the weather forecast is not so good.

Went for an epic ride after work tonight with a couple of the guys from the shop and a good customer, so much single track just out of the centre of the city, when I get a chance I'll try and find some YouTube footage, we were out for nearly 3 hours, all on single track, the descents were awesome, one of the guys managed to hug trees in 8 different occasions! I was just happy to get round some of it but I think I've done enough to prove that I'm a reasonable rider as I kept up on the climbs and mostly in the descents. The Orange 5 was definitly the right choice bike wise although I have been getting stick as the guys all ride Specialized fsr trail bikes and they've had the full on brain washing into that brand, each to their own though!
Top bunch of guys though.
