#1 was really beat.

#2 was really sweet aside from the stem/bar combo; the guy who bought that, probably bought that red ritchey bullmoose for $399 BIN. $1200 for a sweet timber wolf, complete...bit steep perhaps, but still nice.

#3 is a nice example of a p23, but no bidders, then relisted at a higher price. Hmmm, ok.

#5 looks like an 88 timber comp

#4 looks very interesting; don't see many in that small size, and looks like a good deal at this point. Wouldn't be surprised to see it get up there. Wonder how sure the seller is about it being a timber wolf.

There are more old Ritcheys for sale at one time, then there are Fats, don't see that too often. Old Ritcheys are becoming so common now :P

I'm really torn about #5-I have an '86 20" Timber Comp, and it's just a bit too small for me. This blue one is about 30 minutes away, but it's newer, I'm not too hot on the color, and the price is at my upper end. I really, really do not want to move parts over from my other frameset, as it's 95% original. If it doesn't sell, and he lowers the initial price a bit, I might bite, and build up another TC that fits me a bit better. We shall see!

Have you had a conversation with him? You might be able to get a good local deal as there is no action on his auction. The color is understated, but it looks to be in great shape. Do you have pics of your 86 Timber Comp...c'mon man, you've got share some pics here, someday

btw, I completed the Santana Moda transaction; good people, the seller and his wife :D

I contacted the guy, but just to verify I could pick it up locally. If the auction is still dead by the weekend, I might make him an offer, or at least go look-there are some nice SID forks I want right in the same town.

Very cool about the Santana-with the knee down, it must be killing you not to be able to test it out.....

OK, here are the Ritcheys-you forced me into it! I'm always hoping to get better pics of these but never get around to it, that's why I don't post. Rack and lamp are original, but have since been removed. The red one is my lady's Ascent.

I don't normally run the seat post out quite that long, I was screwing around on fast dirt roads that day and wanted full extension....she kept catching me! 8)

Hey Shogun are you in VT? I used to live in Colchester a while ago. Bought my 89 Ritchey when I was there.

I did lots of dirt roads and farm trails. I still have it and it has travelled the many places with me. :)

I sure am-we were riding in Colchester on Monday. Gorgeous on the farm trails right now, the leaves are all changing. Where did you buy the Ritchey? If they were sold locally, I can at least hope a few more will pop up :D Mine originally came from Mass, so they are around. Not easy to part with either, glad you still have yours!

I couldn't find one in Vermont at the time so I ordered from a shop in TN of all places. Found the ad in a bike magazine...pre-internet major advertising age.

Where did you ride in Colchester? You might have gone past or through my old farm.
