a bit pished off with ebay!

Well, ebay itself is going down hill anyway, what is it the latest irritation, one ticks items in the watch list that have ended hoping to delete them and ebay flicks up a box asking if I am sure I want to delete, before it just did what it was told, now it questions you.

Then there is the stupidity regards asking questions of vendors, it is as if they don't really want you to ask questions.

Then there is the changes to the search function, click the filters for UK only and it forgets and gives you the world.

Irritating !

But as to vendors, there are some real shysters on there and probably an equal number of similar in customers, which says loads about what our society is becoming.

I had the same thing with some bodywork I wanted for a motorbike. I was the only bidder and got the lot for a bargain price. Within 24 hours the seller refunded me and said that the packed bodywork had been damaged by a fork lift. I sent a reply saying that if he wanted more money, he should have started with a higher price. Needless to say, I got no reply.

I don't think ebay's getting worse, I just think there are more sellers out there with unrealistic expectations of what there items are worth.

As for the constant changes to the system itself....

I won a set of wheels on ebay once, there was a "make an offer" option, so I made what I considered to be a fair offer and it was accepted. I payed, then a day or so later I was refunded because the wheels had some broken spokes and they seller wasn't happy letting them go in that condition. I told him I build wheels and can replace the broken spokes so just to knock a bit of money off, suprisingly he didn't go for that

This could be me (and a few others).

The way they positioned their 'delete all' tick box i have clicked it a few times and then some how delete and my whole watch list was gone!
After the 3rd time of doing this (the drop down menus that appear from no where dont help), i complained and the very next day - deletion confirmation boxes. Sorry! (still have my whole watch list now though).

yup seems it has been a weekend of egay arseh*leness, won a auction for snowshoes obviously lower than what seller wanted but should have put a reserve on, seller then told me "i've already sold them but couldn't edit the listing" lying git had messed to other bidders day b4 and TBH his messaging was impolite to say the least. I'm going off ebay rapidly

bit strange that he got them out to clean them after listing and selling them. why would you.

You think thats strange, who nicks one wheel when they could easily have 2!

At least your Seller had the decency to back up his lame excuse with a refund...

...when I sat up 'til half one in the morning to nab a 'bargain' pair of Mavic Crossrides I had to wait for Paypal to refund my payment :x
