Re:
Hi,
I've got a 1957 Holdsworth Whirlwind.
It's frame and forks. I acquired it from an elderly gentleman who had passed away, who had already stripped it down to bare frame.
It has "fancy" nervex lugs, track ends, mudguard eyelets and brake pivot points.
I have had the following re-chromed and polished by Leigh Metal Finsihes at significant cost;
All lugs
3/4 front fork
Rear stays and chain stays
I was going to get it over to C&G for painting but a house and baby have got in the way!
I have some BH Airlite large flange hubs in a rare metallic green to go with the frame, original Campagnolo headset, Mafac Racer brakes and a few other bits I'd have to sort through.
I am not in a position where I "need" to sell the frame but as it's such a close match to what you've described I thought I'd offer it up, but with it being such a rare frame it would have to be a reasonable offer for me part with it!
Let me know if you'd be interested anyway,
Thanks
Sean
