I think they like being mysterious Their catalogues do always say that specs might differ when the bikes hit the "shelves", so it could be the catalogues are wrong. More than likely though they just differed between Europe and North America. Maybe somebody in here will stumble on this thread and shed some light on the matter...

I'm lovin' that picture of your KK Paul. That's the orange I was talking about!

Just got back from riding mine for a 33 miler, gave it a good hose down and lube up - now for the same for me!

I thought that might be the orange you remembered seeing somewhere. The mango headset is such a nice match with that frame I should have been riding today, but have the week off now so it's just too easy to procrastinate! Sunday is a busy day anyway...the forest is full of the local mtb club people on their cheap carbon frames from Germany. Sounds like a nice ride you had. I'm jealous now and wish I had gotten off my ass after all...he he.

I'm thinking of dropping the price on my other frame, but am having a really difficult time deciding if I actually want to sell it!!! I'm not desperate so maybe I should hang on for a while... :?

Don't sell it Paul. Not unless you need the cash or space. When someone is after one will be the time to sell... or pop it on evilbay with a decent reserve.

Yeah I think you're right! Don't need the cash or space...there's always space for ti I can just hang it on my wall or leave it hanging in the bike shop. I know my friend likes having it there. I'll try to sell my scandium frame instead for a good price, probably on evilbay.

I know this is probably a stupid question, but .... You know if you get a dent in your car, there are guys who come round with a giant magnet and ping it back straight again? Works a treat, couldn't believe it. Well, is a ti frame so much stiffer than a car body that a magnet wouldn't work?

Actually that's a very interesting question. I don't think it would work for some reason (just gut intuition) but hmmm... I'm not even sure ti is magnetic? If I had a magnet I could find out, but alas I don't. Not even on my fridge.
