It's an 89 and probably a very early one going by the group set as most of these strayed in to the LX/DX era. Also they usually have Mavic rims but my very early Muddy Fox based Clockwork had Araya's like this.

A pre Stalk Stalk, fitted from new. Same as on my old MF Clockwork which was one of the first 50 built.

Looking again at the ebay one it's actually a super early Muddy Fox design like the bike I pictured. Same group set as above and looking closer it has the same cable mounts. Rare bike is that and I'd be interested if it were closer.
