96/97 Marzocchi Z2 forks, 65mm travel, decided to keep them!

Original Z2s like this are 65mm travel, have some on my zaskar (in my sig). Still my favourite ever fork, super plush.

yeah, made the mistake of trying to think what travel they were when they weren't infront of me, that said i currently have a possible air conversion going on with these with the help of the guys at windwave so it's likely i'll be keeping them now, assuming the air upgrade works!

:)

Sorry to hijack this thread but where did you get the seals for £17? Cheapest I can find is 21 posted. Also would using heavier grade oil help as compression (and rebound) rate would be slower.

The seals were from my old shop, they had some from ages ago that hadn't been repriced so I got then for a good price, regards the oil weight, heavier oil should slow the rebound but I don't think it makes much difference on the compression.

I'm waiting on a few bits to attempt an air conversion on these forks though so that may help you aswel so I'll let you know what the score is when they are done

Thanks for the answer - I'll be interested to hear how the air conversion goes. I don't need that myself - currently getting a new steerer pressed into mine, just looking out for the cheapest seals and bushings to fit myself.
