I'm almost certain mate, perhaps someone could clarify? :D

deffo 94. yup would have been built in 93.

and agree with above. it's an 18in.

Very tempted to buy it myself as have meant to on it's previous outings on here. :D

but alas, not a good idea at the mo. :(

Stumpy

Hi guys
Lovely frame but alas too big.
Those measurements make it an 18 inch as Specialized measure to the top of the seat tube. While its a 94 model the frame number puts it built in November 93. Anything after september puts it in the following year. (if that makes sense)
I have the red 94 version as my singlespeed and great bikes.
I am pretty sure pauls is the 95 with the 1 1/8th headset. Probably built the end of 94. The tubes were also a slightly larger diameter on the 95 steel models. The frame number will help.
Good luck with the sale, not that you need it as its a great condition frame and will make someone very happy.

Thanks Jamie, Thought you might pop up and help at some point! I am still kicking myself for not buying the 94 stumpy fsr and carbon forks from you when I had the chance......

Stumpy

I have been trying to trace Pauls and the colour scheme is hard to find.
A pic and/or frame number will help. Also whether its an M2 Stumpy or steel.
Basically in 95 all the geometry changed, steel had slightly larger diameter tubing on the downtube and others and 1 and 1 1/8th headsets throughout the range of Stumpies. In 94 all the steel models had 1 inch headsets as far as I know. 94 steel FS Stumpies were colour as dry green metalic and 95 were the lovely champagne colour. (One of my all time favourites).
Will keep looking through the old lit, but thats about it until we know more.
Sorry if its off topic for your for sale thread. Free bump to justify
