93 S-works steel, stickers and paint?

Hi, i have a 93 S-works steel frame, that i have had since about 94! i had it resprayed years ago, but to a non original colour!! does anyone know if it is possible to get the original paint codes, and stickers for this still? if i remember correctly it was a grey colour! any help is much appreciated!

You're just up the road from me! yey a fellow retrobiker that's local!

I would have thought that you would be able to get the colour from Specialized, or someone on here will know.

With regards to stickers, I know of a guy that Spesh UK sent all their old ones to, and have his contact details which I can pass on to you, otherwise get some made. Gil_M on here makes them, but gets busy as you can imagine!

cool, thanks for that, if you can pass on his details that would be great. ill take a couple of pictures and post them over the weekend. It is currently red, with the Mag 21's sprayed the same!! im just trying to piece it all back together at the momment, it was a bit of an odd spec. The guy i brought it off, his wife raced for cannondale so it was built up with bits 'borrowed' from the team!

It would help if you could find a pic of what it used to look like. Have you looked through the Old Specialized catalogues on the gallery here, it's really nice and fast

i will see if i can find a old picture of it. did have a look through the catalogue, but in the sworks catalogue for 93, the s-works steel image does not load properly! i have searched the web, but the only images i can find, seem to be much lighter than i remember!

Ok, having looked through the archive here, and the internet this is the closest i can find, although i am sure my one was darker originally and a dark purple sticker set! i am just tralling through old photographs trying to find an original picture! any help is much appreciated
