Is the Ritchey Super Tubing sticker original ?


I like it too and looks better than the Suntour XC-LTD and You could get away with a 1992 build on it (DX) it would have come with.

Incidentally, the only thing I would change is the 2001 (I think) decal, which I think jars a little. I wonder whether Gil_M has something a little more contemporary on his menu? e.g., the stock red had yellow decals.

Right going by the catalogues..
mine has Wolber AT20 rim's (on DX 32h) which were 91 and 93 spec - 92 being At 18's.

Could it be an in between year change model?

I can add more now I'm not eating my Dinner.

It could well have been that new parts where put on an older frame by the shop as they sell parts of the bike off it. Assuming the wheels and other parts are original.
I don't think the serial number would mean anything either as the few I have mean noting, not even in the high end models.
But that frame design in an Altitude i.e. without the front mech noodle but still the headtube cable stops was either a June or July made frame of 1991
