I usually don't like bar ends, but they look good on this one.
Maybe it's the riser bar that makes them look better .

That old paint could have been a nylon powdercoat? Gasket remover would be better - modern low calorie diet non caustic paintstrippers are hopeless.

I know what your thinking Ive posted this in the wrong thread. As much as i like the LX M560 group the cranks have let me down. I hadnt notice but the squared part of the crank arms have been rounded off to a point where they wont stay tight. I found this donor bike 1991 Diamondback Axis with all the components needed to get the Klein to where it should be.
