I think though if i were to do it over, id remove the decals(after many pics for Gil_m, our resident decal specialist) and buff the frame back to a burnished finish for new decals and a clear lacquer.
I reckon these are special just because they are so rare. Certainly plenty of other bikes from the history about and in numbers but these dont come along too often, and its got that unknown 'Rudy Project' that flummoxes people who have worn their sunglasses for years but had no idea they originally sold bikes.
If its any help to you the build on mine I guess was pretty original in its theme, and copying that -ano zokes, asno stem, post etc without going overboard it would look a real show stopper![]()
