92 Scott Windriver reborn

Old&slow

Dirt Disciple
My Diamondback Ascent has gone to the back of the room as I'm still waiting on the last few bits to arrive , but in the meantime I've been putting this one back together :)

Frame has undergone a full Stripdown, clean and polish, and all the Original worn out bits and pieces relegated to the spares bin :)

Still need a couple of parts to complete this but I'm pretty happy with the results.

Re:

I'm really pleased how this one is turning out, few problems  but with the the help of LARGE amounts of alcoholic pleasures and an ever emptying wallet I feel progress is being made :)

here is a few shots I thought I'd share, any comments or input as ever is welcome :)

 yea I've enjoyed this.. :)

Re:

Thank you chrisv40 , I think its turning out rather nicely, as for full bike shots, I'm doing those tomorrow. :)

Re:

Nice one! I have a '91 WindRiver in blue and pink, full DX and Tange Infinity. Only "but" is that clearance for the rear tire is not great so 2.0 is the maximum I can use, but otherwise I love the bike.

Yours is nicely built and in great condition! Only comment I would have is to lower the front derailleur a little bit. You should be getting it as close to the big ring as possible without touching it, for the best shifting results (although having thumbies would always allow you precise shifting no matter what! :-))

Re:

Ditto the other comments; you made me scroll through all those (albeit very nice) close ups and not even a single shot of the full bike
All looks very nice and clean :D

Re:

:D Thanks to everyone for the comments :) , Took me ages to finally get her out and ready to roll, so thought I'd take some time doing some nice photos, had'nt realised that there was not one full shot

So without further ranting, and before the nightly beer kicks in again  . Pics..
