'92 Orange Clockwork

The bb took hours to install - cups definitely not wanting to go in despite a good tapping this morning. Pretty much done now, although the rear brake is proving painful, with the cable fixing bolt fouling the rear derailleur cable mount. Will persevere in the morning, although the ride at Cannock is now out of the question due to lack of hours in the day! Arse... :(

What do you think of your powder coating firm? Did you have to do much prep/ masking? Or did they do it all? What were there prices and turn-around time like?

Thinking of using them as although I'm not local I do travel up and down the M6 regularly.

Cheers.

Thanks

£15 frame & forks. No masking needed - they did it all. Turnaround was a couple of days. I've been back since for other bits (they did the stem on my Clockwork too) & had similar experiences. Ask for Steve - he knows what he's doing & bikes himself.

Cheers

Now finished. Had to change the hanger on the rear brake in order to clear the cable stop with the canti arm, otherwise it's exactly what I wanted. Very happy & looking forward to riding it this afternoon :D

Very, very nice and a superb resto 8) It's what mine would look like if I wasn't so lazy

Thanks - your build (which i think is stunning by the way) was really useful in helping visualise what mine would look like. Gotta love this forum for exactly that 8)
