'92 Deore LX chainring spacers for GT Pantera

Retro Newbie
In the midst of rebuilding my old GT Pantera from 92 (again). I'd taken the bike apart years ago to clean if I remember correctly. This included taking the chainrings off to give the cranks a good scrub. I must have lost interest and they've sat in a draw ever since. I'm now determined to get the old girl running again and have found all the bolts but the spacers are long gone.

If I bolt all the chain rings to the spider there's clearly no gap, so spacers must have been used but i've no idea what size so I don't know what I should be searching for or buying. It's the original groupset, 3x7 Deore LX

A couple of pictures attached showing the chainrings as they are now in the hope somebody here can point me in the right direction.

The original Pantera came with a mix of Deore LX and 500 LX including the chainset.
I know as I have one myself, ;)!
In an effort to keep the Pantera at a certain price point GT kitted out the Pantera with the 500lx chainset and either LX or Exage hubs. The rest was mostly Deore LX. Cosmetically there's not a lot of difference between the Deore LX and 500LX chainset.
Though the chainset in your photo looks like a Deore DX (mt60)
I have a spare Deore LX chainset which you can buy if you're interested.
I'm not sure where you'd find spacers for a early 90's Shimano chain sets. Possibly first place to look would be eBay.

Thanks very much for the reply. Cheers also for the offer of a chainset but I'm already 1 extra chainset into this as bought the attached on ebay thinking it would be a straight swap. It wasn't. 😞 The new one sat far too far from the frame.

I must have ridden this bike to the moon and back in the nineties and really keen to get it rolling again so if I can't sort the spacers I may give you a shout👍

Hey Hamster, thanks for that. If you get a chance would you mind measuring, no worries if not as I've found these in 5.5mm so probably worth a punt at this price
