up for grabs is my 91 avalanche reluctantly i must say.
i jumped in feet first on this when i got it and its just to small for me, ive been riding round for the past week hoping it will grow on me  but it just wont.
ive offered it to my other half as its perfect for her but for reasons i wont go into she wont ride it. its totaly standered with xt shifters and the usual lower end drive size 18 frame with a few bits of rust showing through in places, wheels are as close to mint as they come and ive just fitted a new chain but it seems a little long and i dont have a chain splitter. price wise i havent got a clue but im going to to put £250 ono but if im wrong im sure someone will correct me ( wot ? its really only worth 99p  )
i would like collection on this but if you want postage i would have to ask for payment by bank transfare.

im building a 92 jamis diablo and need the following parts.
everything except frame and wheels. so would be interested in doing a deal on the bike for wot you have.

im looking for a nice set of forks 1inch threaded steerer 180mm long, straight leg for 26 wheel
a nice set of cranks with or without chain rings red blue wot you got.
may consider anything xt xtr
nice set of bars and bar ends
tell me wot you have and see if we can get the price down on the bike for you.

just to give you a bit of an idea my 98 avalanche with xt sold for £120

Not sure as it's a fair comparison. Rust aside bike looks pretty original, glwts.

thanks john hopfully someone will see through the rust and make this bike glorious once again,

Tange prestige iirc, nice early 90s bike, proper non-sus retro mtb, should get a decent price I reckon. Might take a while to get the right buyer though. (I'm actually starting to sound like I know what I'm on about! Ignore it all! Probably bo****ks. ) Glws.

thanks jaypee think your right about waiting for the right buyer.
also thanks to Chute55uk for replying.
guess it wont be long before its got a new owner as ive stuck it on fleabay and got a few interested parties,

The definitive GT for me.

An archetype of bikes from this period and a brilliant example of why we love this era of MTB.
