Re:

Betterer? Shed bits look the part I think. This will be my glass slipper. I WILL make it fit!

Lovely steed THM - great score :)

Re:

Had some time today after walking the dogs. Mrs HM was off doing shopping for Mrs HM type things like handbags, 'tops' (she always comes back with new 'tops') and rear subframe bushes for the Xtrail etc.

Pimped the zaskar and gave this some new cables while swapping the original levers across. A light clean and done for now I think.

Turned out OK. Could do with some nicer tyres but not going all 'must be period gum wall smoke dart crusty canvas showing good for garage queen' nonsense. I have some Splashbacks but would that be a strap too far?

looking good.

IF it were mine, I would replace the spokes and fit some nice modern lightweight tyres.

With lighter wheels it would feel a lot more nimble

Re: 83 Andy Powell Early Overbury's MTB

Thanks.

So guys. Modern non offensive lightly treaded lightly weighted tyres that would suit this?

Any suggestions.

Making enquiries re getting the wheels rebuilt.

Got some here. I'm looking at them thinking they're a bit naff. Anybody got any pics of them fitted to something nice?
