dawes frame

I had one of these in the late 80's, i got it seconhand from Barretos bikes in Plymouth, i stripped it and painted it a tasteful Orange and Green split. It was a wicked bike to ride fast downhill as it was really stable, but it was awful to climb with.
I might still have the frame in my dads shed. I dont remember the name of it though, happy days.

looks like a Dawes Wildcat and it also appears to have a rather nice Shimano M730 XT chainset

Glad someone could remember the name of it, i was racking my brains and still couldn't.
I think it was reynolds 531 tubing, unless soemone can correct me.

At least i can now update my signature with 'Dawes Wildcat'.
