Wouldn't worry, they aren't that good a fit with Ringle screw ons which were designed for 7 speed. The big problem is that they use sealed bearings so you don't have the ability to add extra washers on the drive side and away from the non drive.
There's a good chance that the chain would end up fouling the drive side seat stays or the small cog could foul the dropout (although there are some combos that work). Does that make you feel better?
