It was a pleasure supplying the groupset and wheels knowing that they would compliment the frame perfectly. I bet the bike looks like a new build!

It would be nice to see the bike in the flesh if you are heading out on it this summer. I have built a late 70's Somec with as new Nuovo groupset and Basso Astra EL with Delta groupset so we should get a retro club run sorted!

The Dura-Ace kit looks great on the Banana frame and the bike does almost look brand new (a few scratches here and there if you know where to look), but because everything is used, it means I don't have the usual nagging doubt in my head that I normally get when I build a bike with NOS kit... to ride it or not to ride it... this one is definately a rider.

Like you, I've built a few bikes over the winter and now have 3 or 4 to choose from when the weather decides to sort itself out!
