I've a pair of XT thumbies in good shape that I was planning to switch on one of my bikes - they're in good shape. I'll try to sort pictures later

Trying to build up a bike for my wife to use, thought I would use some old wheels off a previous bike. Remembered they were only 6 speed uniglide hubs and the cassette is worn and rusty. Got some wheels off the forum with 7 speed cassette but got 6 speed old deore shifters :? .
