56mm head tube diameter?

While I'm happy to admit I'm not up with all the modern standards, I'm surprised a new frame I bought recently had a lower head tube diameter of approx 56mm.

I've got bikes with 44mm and 49mm but this is new on me.

Have I measured wrongly?

What headsets come in this size? Off to search the web, thought I'd just be able to use something I had, not so it seems.

Nooooooo.another new fangled 'standard'. The build is I suppose me doing a fully modern build so should have 3xpected it and be happy. I was hoping to use a hope one I already had but it's a 49 lower cup.

Any recommendatioms for a decent but keenly priced headset. I assume I'd be best going with an internal rather than external cup?

That size is only internal, ZS56/40
Nukeproof do a lower for £20. No experience of them though. Bearing easy enough to upgrade cheaply though if it wears.
