45 today !

45 today and my 1st baby on the way in Aug.........i was always a late starter at most things.

Just starting to get over the mid life crisis and settle into the fact that i got to work harder these days to get my body to do the same things.

The trouble with children late in life is as their getting more energetic you are getting less so. I used to play fight and chase my oldest all the time, he's 19 now but my 7 year old I just cannot keep up with.

Glad you are happy about your age, I have that latter this year, but I suppose with new life on the way age doesn't matter that much as you have achieved lots.

But yeah, I have noticed my fitness levels drop off rather fast these last couple of years and where I used to take a reasonable fitness level for granted, now I am having to work at it and it's not easy.

But thanks to yoga, I do have a fairly good flexibility which I am happy with, as many my age and less do not have that and are already at ten years younger starting to feel the age creeping in.

I have practiced Yoga since 1989 every morning.........i used to teach about every other year.

Used to do 2-2 half hours a day...now about 20mins....but will never give it up as long as i can do it.

I used to do the 1st series of Ashtanga vinyasa (power yoga) but formed my own style of 'quick yoga' for people who don't have 2 hours. It can be done in 20mins if your fast.
