Hello all! I've got something quite special indeed.
For sale is a set of rare Scott, 3t 'Drop-In' handlebars.
An early example of cray-cray aerodynamic TT bars, these were used by the likes of Lemond and Armstrong] back in the day.
There's plenty of speculation about the bars online, but very little concrete information! As far as I can tell, these are the earlier and thus rarer version with the sexy dark ano. Very 90's. A perfect match to your MA4's, Spinergy's and splash tape.
Interestingly, these have gained popularity in the touring world, so a very versatile bar!
I've got three examples of these, all in different states of wear and tear.
The first set are clean NOS in their original Scott-3t celophane (42cm C2C). The second have some tiny nicks and are out of their cellophane (40cm C2C). And the last are slightly tatty on the clamp area and on the drops (42CM C2C).
The bars are as follow:
