Anyone's wife or girlfriend into collecting teddies...?
Really need to shift these on as they are literally just gathering dust! And as always could do with some cash for other things, like the car tax.... :facepalm:
On the left: little mohair Steiff mask faced bear, no button, lovely peach colour which I think is quite rare. Stitch on chest where tag would have been. Seen these go for £70 with the dealers...£35 posted
In the middle: big grumpy night dress case, lovely mohair, no ID but it's the sort of thing Woolworths sold in the 50's and 60's, definitely English....£35 posted
On the right: a very old bear in need of resto, was once pink! Can still see traces of colour in his joints. Mohair fairly good, eyes are probably replacements and not quite right. Believed to be early German. I paid a lot for him and he will need some help, recovering of paw pads, etc....£75 posted
