Wu, Klein-mad-chris and I had a amusing day exploring the downs on the cross bikes.

We ignored the sign.......

...... and then we realised that Tony had been back to sabotage the 'Duck Board'

But, finally decided which car to buy, even down to what colour and which interior trim now where's the extras list? all those lovely add-ons that cost loads of money even the mrs agreed on some bits

I got tired of looking at the pace in a pile of parts... so jumbled it all together in an ad hoc singlespeed sort of a way..... much fun was had on sunday, First time riding rigid and single speed since I was a toddler, and it really reminded me of how important it was to pick a path, something i had largely forgotten riding suspension.

Dragged around a car boot sale by the Mrs, while I could have been riding... but low and behold, what do I find but an Ex mtb racer, flogging off his old bits!

So picked up some control tech parts, XTR, and LX bits for under a tenner, some of which will wind up on here.

Sometimes avoiding a ride to please the bird has it's benefits for us all.

that happened to me the other week - picked up a few bits - X-lite, Control Tech etc - probably £120 worth on Ebay - I got them for £25
