yep. The bad back means i ride tall at the front.

Looks good, might be worth getting a bag support so your legs don't run on the back and makes it more stable.

Thanks. Thinking of making a bag support. Carradice one would cost me three times the cost of the bag.

First ideas: 1 1/8 stem or mtb guard clamp and length of bar to hold bag out back further.

Does the bag have to be supported? Are straps enough?

Re: 25" Overbury's Connoisseur in need of TLC - Done P6

Straps are enough usually , however I find when my leg is dead straight my leg rubs on the back of the back which is slightly annoying. It also keeps the bags secure, you often find they bob up and down a bit which makes a noise. Also as the bag is at an angle the straps are quite awkward to get to. Not essential but usually a nice accessory to have , makes life a bit easier.

Incoming for a fraction of the cost. Needs restoring.

Support arrived. Fits perfectly and very much in keeping with the bike.

I think that's it. I have rack and panniers for a short camping tour at Easter. First ride at the weekend.

The gear cables look really long, but that's probably because they are.

Yes, they fit around/under the bar bag i have for the touring expedition. :) I reckon i could take off a couple of inches. inches
