I was lucky a friend of mine pointed me in the direction of a cheap local Manitou frame on Craigslist. The frame is knackered with multiple cracks but is way cool and a better size then my previous wallhanger at 16.5 inches. It also has a cool chainguide that I really don't know much about. Would love to get some input on the chainguide from the forum. Also its a January 1993 frame though I'm not sure if its the standard FS or a cheaper or DH version, would love if someone here could clarify for me the identity.

Re:

I was comparing the rear shocks on this Jan-93 frame versus the Dec-93 that I had which used Manitou 3s. Does this early 93 frame have Manitou 2 rear shocks?

Wow those are some good cracks. This fork would go well with the frame.

Waste of good forks...

nothing good about them, take another look

OP, if you feel the Christmas spirit passing your way, I could make good use of that rear end :D

I have some near NOS Manitou front shocks, a nice matching blue Brodie booster, and some parts as well... let me know if you are interested...

It has crossed my mine to restore the frame enough for hanging on the wall. I was looking at polishing it up first. Getting rid of old decals and some fresh ones... Not sure how much money I want to sink into it just yet. But the Brodie booster on the back would look cool. Would like to find a Manitoi collar and seatpost.
