As subject really. What are people's favourite options for a tan wall 23 that's not NOS because I ride the bike when the sun is out

Veloflex Corsa Evo (the older Master is good too but now out of production).

...And Vittoria Corsa G2 would be my picks. Both excellent grippy tyres with great rolling resistance and good puncture resistance.. for the roads I ride at least.

I considered Challenge for some recent builds but they get some poor reviews for durability so I didn't bother.

Dynamic Classics are definitely good value for money, and surprisingly light considering the price and the fact they are beaded rather than folding.

I have some 20c and 23c ones on two bikes currently, and they roll nicely enough without being puncture-prone. Well, so far 🤞

Vittoria do some nice folding tan wall options, but they seem hard to get in 23c now that 28c is all the rage. 25c are more available if you can go that wide. Otherwise it’s true, options are limited.

I used Challenge Vulcano tan wall tubs on one of my bikes. They’re another great-looking tyre and overall I was very happy with them. My only criticism was longevity issues, as the tread rubber hardened and cracked quite quickly. The outer casing was basically dead before I’d worn the tyre out. I would buy them again, but I can’t help but compare them to the 4 year old Conti Giros that stood in the sun for 6 months during lockdown on a bike that was stuck at work and were completely fine…
