2014 Trek Slash 8 swop or £1400 for a £3500 bike

Hi this is a friends bike he bought this a few month ago it, a 27.5" and he wanted to try one but its not for him he sead, he is only 5,4" and he likes the good old 26" better.
The bike is a 2014, and its in great shape like new, as it's done less than 100 miles,
Fox talas evolution series FIT, CDT, front forks, work perfect
Fox float DRCV, CDT, rear shock,
XT hollow crank, XT brakes, SLX shifters, XT rear mech, shram x7 front mech,
Reverb stealth seat post, Bontrager wheels and tyres,
its a really cool bike, new it was £3500, i can get photos of it when he gets back as he works on the oil rigs, its a Slash 8
