2012 CUBE Peloton Race
53cm

I bought this on the 20th July 2012 from Climb On Bikes in Hereford.

I decided to buy a road bike to give it a try, but it's really not for me and I think I'm going to stick to the fat tyres and muddy trails!

The bike cost £999 and comes equipped with:

Carbon Fork
Shimano 105 (2 x 10) Shifter Units
Shimano 105 Front Mech, Brakes and Chainset
Shimano Ultegra Rear Mech
Easton Wheels
Schwalbe Ultremo ZX HD Tyres
Easton Bars, Stem and Seatpost

Note - Pedals are not included.

I've added a few nice blue bits to it, such as brand new KCNC Z6 Skewers and Seatclamp, as well as blue headset spacers and blue chainring bolts (which aren't fitted, but which I will include).

The bike is suitable for people between 5'7" and 5'11" tall. I'm 5'10" with a 31" inside leg, and the bike is set up for me in the pictures. As you can see, there's room either way :)

The bike has covered a grand total of 23 dry miles since I bought it, so is virtually brand new. There are absolutely no marks on it - 100% perfect throughout.

These are very hard to get hold of in this size, purely because it's an incredibly popular bike (regarded as one of the best sub-£1000 bikes at the moment), and 53cm is one of the most popular sizes. I had to make a 140 mile round trip to collect it, as none of the CUBE stockists near me had any in stock, and neither did CUBE themselves.

Asking £850 posted (UK) for this beauty.

I would suggest that you cannot sell this bike as until you make all payments and pay the settlement fee you don't actually own title to the bike. And you can't really sell something which is not yours.

I'm going to pay off the cycle to work agreement tomorrow, using money from my savings, rather than using the money from the sale of the bike, for the very reason you've stated.

Cheers
