I like to use Elixir levers with avid calipers, much better than Guide levers

I just found a picture of the cockpit of that bike and the levers had "CODE 5" on them. I haven't used many Avid/SRAM brakes, so I'm not familiar with the different lever styles.

I also don't remember what pads I put in them, so the difference in feel may have come from there too.
