2002 Rocky Mountain RM9

I had the good fortune of a fellow Retrobike member selling me their beast of a Rocky. So stoked to have this monster of a bike. This will be a interesting and exciting ride for me. Going to take some time and money. According to the serial number I believe this is the 66th frame built that year. The other front triangle being the 111th.

Frame looks a really nice piece of kit. The swing arm is a fair chunk of metal isn't it. What forks are you going for, Monster T's?

Re:

Monster was the hope but doesn't seem to be able to fit the head tube. If I slide the stanchions there isn't enough room for the 7 inches of travel. Kind of bummed. Need another fork I guess.

Re:

Thought about it. Might be cool to do a more modern and lightweight build on it. The monsters weigh a ton. I originally wanted to use them in a rm7 build anyways.
