Finally have gotten my all time favorite classic freeride hardtail. 2002 4Hun in real sorry shape but lots of potential. Stickered up like mad! Still cleaning gunk off it. Test fitting parts. Man I wish I had one of these BITD!

Nice bike, i still hanker after a little hardtail but i'm kinda a bit tall for one.

Surely mentholated spirits will get the sticky stuff off? That's what I use for sticky labels. Otherwise any type of paint thinner.

Thanks. I'm 6'2" so small bikes are just for fun.

What type of spirits do you use?

Sorry, methylated spirits not mentholated. The stuff you use to clean paint brushes.

I'm 6'7" and had a little bike for bombing around on years ago and I do still fancy getting another to mess around on.

Yours looks nice n solid.

This is a cool frame.

Rim brake mounts for 26" and 24" wheels? BMX press-fit BB? Incredibly beefy?

That's a good score - even here in Canada, Norcos of this vintage are pretty rare. The good ones are anyway.

Paraffin (kerosene if over the pond as i think you are) will remove sticker residue.


Otherwise petrol ( gasolene if over the pond etc...) can be used but more danger involved.

The pressed bmx bb is pretty cool though the SNafu crankset I have it a bit worn down. For 20 bucks I can convert it to use standard mtb cranks. I have a bunch of old Raceface cranks and bashrings. So that will be the set up in the beginning..
