Hi,
1st post for me and great to see there’s a forum to help. I’ve a 2000 (1999?) Stumpjumper M4, owned from new and very original. I’ve looked to refurb the rear hub and free hub… and ended up in a mess. I ignored my usual rule of photos and recording sequence of dis-assembly. So can anyone identify what I’ve got and can I purchase the same? I’ve tried to identify a freehub but none look the same. On re-assy, I’m unable to tighten the freehub without it locking the wheel. Shims in wrong order? I’ve cleaned and lubed the pawls, re-greased the loose bearings and replaced the sealed bearing units… but any clues as to what’s wrong or new unit?
