I've just got this back on the road.

The original Hope Hubs and wheels are in the shed as they've really badly buckled, so I've put my Mavic Crossrides from my old commuter on instead.

Clearly these are not period correct.

Nor are the mechanical discs I also took off my old commuter when the frame snapped.

But it's nice to see the old girl up and running again.

My only concern is the geometry.

I think I'm too old to bend down that far these days.

Switch to a stem with a bit more rise and all should be good! Nice to see it back in use.

I don't think it would need too much...

I was never a fan of riser bars when I bought it, but I almost wished I'd specced it with them now.
