Apart from the obvious Face Saving qualities of the latter fork selection [Aluminium Crown versus Carbon Crown], that Blue has always looked great against a Ti frame IMO..
The SID WC require a service too [always a fearful moment when TFTuned call you about a set of Old Forks you sent them] so Dual Airs it is for now
My pulse doubled when I saw this on Ebay, then slowed when I realised it's actually a 16" [last two digits in the frame serial]
Rolled down to Fulham Evans* to use their Shock Pump as mine has apparently perished / failed / died.. And the guys there were astonished at the wheels, forks and condition of the MOOTS.. They couldn't understand how it wasn't brand new..
* Only as a last F%$£ing Resort I can assure you..

I was a bit worried it was too large for me, on paper it fits, but when stood next to my 18" IF Ti, it just looked bigger.. Maybe taller..? But I ran the tape measure all over it, including BB height, and it sits the same.. Just an optical illusion I guess, although the angles might be steeper causing that..
Pulled a 50K/30M ride on it to give it a good innings and it is an awesome ride, the slightly longer HT makes for a great XC Long Haul position. I like a long TT and felt sufficiently stretched with plenty of my weight going over the front wheel when digging into downhill bermy turns. Never ridden a Ti Wishbone before, but did't notice any harsher a ride than the usual bendy dual seatstay set up..
I have a set of Igleheart Segmented Forks that I might stick on it, just to really feel the Ti working
