2000 Marin Mount Vision Build

Re:

Took the bike out on some of the local DH trails earlier this week. Some were really good fun (even though I did take every single chicken line), others downright terrifying!

Even with the seat slammed down the bars are low enough (and I suppose the stem long enough) to draw your weight further forward than you want.

So I think that settles the debate on whether to flip the stem angled downwards... need to be able to make it safely down these sort of trails, even if it is a matter of controlling speed and hanging off the back of the bike for grim death!

On a more positive note, managed my first top ten Strava placing (out of 100 or so) on one of the local xc climbs up onto the Mendip scarp

Another pic I found

My loft looks like that at the moment as I'm giving my Mt Vision some TLC and I bought another and a Rift Zone for spares!

Nice selection, what colour combo you going for on swingers and forks?

I also see you have the original torque tubes on them.
