2 Yokota Yosemite's in 2 days

White one looks Pre 1990... based upon components. Not a bad thing. Tires on it are not stock. Am going to stay that was the stem that was spec'ed either.

We used to pitch them as the other higher end Japanese company (Miyata being the first).

Never had any major issues with them the couple years I sold them.

I believe in Edmonton at the time, Edmonton Cycle (where I worked - '90 - '91) was the only shop that carried the line.

The shop was more family oriented selling Norco, Nishiki (yes including the Alien), Fiori, BRC, Yokota and but could bring in higher end brands that weren't exclusive to the "Pro Shops". It was one of those old multi-generational family shops owned by the Moon family (Gods those places were magical looking back on them).

Now the Pro... that be one rare bike over in North America. Very nice find.

One I would seriously consider adding to my collection (but not currently, too many projects on the go as it is)

obviously similar to early RST suspension forks, RST 300 or 500 from 1991 and 92

Just all of those had been listed as fluid damping and have been sold with an air pump.

As the caps on the top obviously don't have valves. It must have been somewhere else, maybe also on the fork in the Yokota?

Can someone recognize the picture on the right to identify the location of the Schrader valve?
