Just got this on ebay for the princely sum of £79.99.......

Now, looks like wearing the original RST forks. Any good? Bin immediately?

Apart from that, looks like a mech, chain and rear v's -off we go

That was a bargain. The frame is lovely, steel I presume?

Anyway, RST forks back then were pretty rubbish. My 281s or 261s that came on my 1997 GT Backwoods as stock snapped when I got about a foot of air. I weighed about 10 stone back then.

I would swap them asap for either rigid or some rockshox.
