1999 KHS Brentwood cruiser

My brother is selling his beloved KHS Brentwood cruiser
It needs a clean but is structurally sound and usable as is.. Some info from the kid.

1999 KHS Brentwood restoration project. For sentimental reasons I’ve held onto this for too long. The frame and forks are in good shape but does have some rusted spots so needs taking back to the metal if you’re not happy with that, not just chipped paintwork.

There are some good features though:
Shimano Alivio groupset all works.
Chainrings are good, as is the chain.
Mega comfy almost new FWE handle grips.
Chrome bell.
Decent hubs, spokes and rims.

Spare STX-RC crank arms with small and medium chainrings attached.

Tires are not the ones I will sell with the bike. I have a selection of touring tyres, which are a far better match.

Shimano parts are compatible with current products. Chainrings for example are deore.

Collect from Penarth Town Centre. £100, no offers.

We’re in lockdown in Wales for a minimum of 2 weeks from 6pm Friday so please bear that in mind. I’ll see if I can get him to pick up a bike box before Friday if anyone wants it posted.
