Picked up this Zaskar from Facebook to build up for my other half, she's currently using a Giant "Rock" which is heavy, basic, and in all probability a little bit too small for her. This is a 16" frame.
My plan was to swap over the parts from the old frame onto this one, but then I saw a bike for sale locally that looked like it might make a good donor bike so today I went and bought another bike
All is not lost! It turns out I hit the motherlode with the donor bike as it turned out to be fully loaded with Hope jewels... hubs, q/r's, seat clamp, bar end plugs, hose guides etc  almost seems too good to put on a Bike for the Mrs, but I'll make sure I have a "test ride" or two once it's finished
I made good progress today and got the headset, forks, bars etc swapped over, then hit a hurdle with the Octalink bottom bracket, couldn't find my removal tool so may end up buying another one so I can switch the chainset over.
Other than that I just need a rear disc adapter, which I have ordered so should be able to get this thing up and running by next weekend all being well.
