1998 GT STS DS Reloaded

After some searching i finally found a 19.5 size frame where i can fit so i sold my modern bike´s frame and kept the components to build this bike, here you have the final result.

I wanted to build it with the Hope four pot calipers so i built a caliper support and welded it on the seatstays.

Specifications are the following:

Frame: GT STS DS

Fork: Magura Menja 130

Rims: Mavic 317

Mechs: Sram X9

Gear levers: Sram X9

Crankset: Trutativ Stylo

Seatpost: Specialized Command 2012

Seat: Flite 1995 (in the pics appears a maxflite but now i´m ussing my old flite)

stem:kore elite (not the one in the pics)

Handlebar: Titec Hell Bent

Rear shock: Rock Shox Monarch 4.2 190x50 with modified clamping points to adapt it to the trunion mount.

Brakes: Hope M4 with 180mm disc at the front and 160 at the rear

Seatpost is not complaining at all, it works fine. i must say that i take a look from time to time to check that everything is fine and i haven´t had any problem.

Regarding the rear shock i can say that it works very well, i´m still working on the setup but i´m pretty happy with it. Original shock length on this bike is 112mm if i don´t remember badly and i added some milimeters in order to keep the frame height in balance between front and rear.
