First proper post so thought i’d introduce one of the fleet.
Everyone has a Zaskar story i’m sure whether that be lusting after or owning one…mid 90’s i was lucky enough to custom build up a 94 ano purple LE on Manitou 4’s with all the trick bits right around that riser bar/flat pedals boom. The swiss army knife of bikes for me at 16, transport/jump bike/slalom bike/DH bike/street riding/trials/XC weapon.
Alas it got stolen a couple of years later and eventually i lost the love for riding around the early 2000’s.
Fast forward quite a few years on it was time to get another one in the stable so here’s my 16” 1997 Zaskar.

Judy’s have jett medium weight coil springs fitted. She’s pretty much finished other than a few bits i need to get round to changing/upgrading…doesn’t help having another 3 retro bikes vying for my attention
Certainly not as fancy as some but i like it
