At long last I can post images on here.

Bike has changed since this was taken,now has XTR shifters,syncros stem,different tyres and saddle and XTR qr`s.The Fox float 80RLC are excellent forks so smooth I know they`re not at all retro but for me its function over correctness,sorry if it offends anyone.

I've modernised mine also, but no harm in continuing to update an excellent core component with new parts in my book

How long/what rise is your stem and the height of rise on your bars?, as I'm looking to shorten mine little and add a little rise

Great bike. The 17 is the best looking size IMO, and that one looks particularly well-preserved.

The Fox Float looks just right and seems to suit the colour scheme really well. With a 9-10cm stem, it should give you the same degree of liveliness in the handling as with a Project 2 and a 12cm stem.

Thanks for the compliments,I have an option of two syncros stems a 120 and a 100 both with minimal rise.Apart from the cassette its all M95* XTR.It was my dream to own one and I wouldnt part with it for anything.
