Rims and hubs did arrive, now only some time for lacing..

Here are some "making of" images

first step: getting rid of the old paint and sanding the frame



after a base coat, a layer of white and on top of that the decals, because i want the letters do be debased,





a layer of Monsungrau....

and finally a few layers of clear coat



Quite satisfied with the job, preparations could have been a bit better, you still do see some scratches under the paint...next time!

Liked it as a backfire, can't say the grey does much for me even though it's done well. But it's not mine.

Please can you tell me which seatpost you have used. I have a Syncros that has failed and don't want to use another as I think the design is flawed.

Should be a Tune "Starkes Stück" Lighter than Syncros, too! Tune is a German brand, manufacturing very lightweight stuff. And quite nice to look at, too.
